I recently came across a book What Husbands Can’t Resist that I really think is worth reading. I have been married to my husband for 22 years and believe we have a strong marriage. Many years ago, we both got into reading marriage books and I do know they helped us in the beginning and through the years. Having said that, I think that after awhile we become “comfortable” in our rolls and can begin to loose the spark.

The books we read when we were first married were awesome. They pointed out things that we never would have thought of an important. For example, if we were going to remodel our kitchen it is better to get a loan and get it done as soon as possible. Reason being is the kitchen is the heart and sole of most women and if you just do it piece meal as you can afford it, it can be very unsettling for the wife and she can become difficult to live with. On the other hand, if the wife is a stay-at-home mom and greats the husband coming home from work every day with the challenges and problems she has had the moment he walks in the door, the husband will be come withdrawn and may even not want to come home. Best to give him an hour or so to unwind before you share your day.

Since we are way past that part of our life, our son is grown and out of the house, I did not think much about what I could do to help our marriage. We don’t fight – really never have, we enjoy one another’s company and seem extremely compatible. However, when I ran across Bob Grant’s e-book on What Husband’s Can’t Resist, I realized that perhaps I could do something more to ensure we stay married another 22 years and beyond.

Ladies, if you love your husband, get What Husband’s Can’t Resist. I truly believe you will be amazed at how your can improve your marriage whether you are just getting married or have been married a long time.

Bob Grant says this book is worth $28,000 – but you can buy is for only $47.00. He compares the cost to a wedding but I compare the cost of what it takes to get divorced and start over! Click Here! To get the most out of your marriage.

“I scuba dive in Panama.”
“I dance tango in Buenos Aires.”

He has spent more than five years learning the secrets of the New Rich, a fast-growing subculture who has abandoned the “deferred-life plan” and instead mastered the new currencies—time and mobility—to create luxury lifestyles in the here and now.

I have been married for close to 21 years to the most wonderful man. We raised our son in Reno, NV and after 17 years in the same home have found ourselves plucked out of Reno and landing in Los Angeles. Believe me, if you told me two years ago I would be living in LA I would have told them they were nuts.

But, here we are. How did we get here? Well, JR got an opportunity to move down here for a contract job in March of 2008. Now, throughout the years, we have had many times when JR has had to work outside of the Reno area so it was nothing new to us. As the months progressed, our son graduated from high school and moved out of the house. I became more depressed at my isolation (we lived on a 65 acre ranch north of Reno) even though I was working full time. JR and I have always had a wonderful marriage, very compatible, loving and respectful. Having him gone was like a hole in my world. We would travel back and forth on weekends but that gets expensive and a big drag.

So, in August of 2008, we decided it was time to move me down to LA and leave Reno behind. After several months of purging 20+ years worth of stuff, we moved me down in November of 2008.

Now, at age 48 and no children at home the next chapter in our life has begun . . .
